All molds are thoroughly tested by PacMold technicians on modern, properly sized, presses simulating actual production conditions. Water lines are always connected. Thermolators are used when necessary. Mold temperatures are stabilized. Hot manifolds and valve gates are connected to proper controllers. Resins are dried when necessary. And testing can conform to any special procedure. After testing, samples are shipped by air for evaluation and approval. A detailed Processing Report and a video are made for the customer during mold testing to verify that the mold was production ready before shipment. In every case, molds are shipped only after the customer is satisfied that parts meet specifications. Of course, customers are always welcome and encouraged to witness mold tests in-person to expedite any final changes and approve samples.
